The Core Mission of the Honorary Honorary Consulate is to:
- Raise awareness and promote Namibia
- Enhance Bilateral relations between Namibia and Mauritius
- Foster Trade, Investment as well as Tourism between Namibia and Mauritius
- Open opportunities, develop economic cooperation and facilitate contacts between Namibia and Mauritius
- Facilitate cultural, commercial, educational, social, scientific and sports exchange between Namibia and Mauritius
- Defend and protect the interest of Namibia and provide support and assistance to Namibians in Mauritius
- To accomplish projects that enhance the interests of both Namibia and Mauritius, reflecting the strong commitment, cooperation and bond between both countries.
Citizens of Namibia are kindly requested to register with the Honorary Consulate. By registering, you assist the Honorary Consulate with localizing you during an emergency, verifying your status and liaising with your next of kin. Registration is voluntary and free of charge.
